  2. In and effort to reduce the spam on the site, several years ago I had went to a program where I manually approve each and every new registration. This approval gives you full access to the site, to pictures, and to post, among other things. To be able to enjoy the full potential of the board for you, you need to be fully registered.. and that's easy.. Just send an email to me at jim@trishieldperformance.com and I will verify your registration. This policy will remain in effect indefinitely, as it has completely eliminated the bad actors from our site, who would spam and hack it, once they gained access. Thanks JW

She's a Beauty! ...and I love your enthusiasm. As you've already said, with a little patience and some research you can do quite a bit of maintenance and upgrades on your own. Keep us posted on you progress!

      Thank you very much!
This may not be the ultimate ideal car for most people however this is my “dream” car. My enthusiasm comes from my upbringing, I was always around old school cars and my dad owned this exact year electra. I’ve always loved the car scene and when the opportunity came to purchase this sexy beast I had to do it... I am very excited to get this bad baby back from the shop and get back to work on her!

Bought the car 15Mar20 and drove it back from Santa Barbara to vacaville (350-400miles).
What I’ve learned since owning the car:
    - patience is key you can’t rush the car
    - Black is the hardest color to keep clean
    - how to hand wash a car (wash it every two days)
Most exciting part of owning this car:
-EVERYTHING.... I have so many ideas that I want to do with this amazing beauty I always have something to do with this car each and every day whether its sanding the trunk and cleaning up the underbelly.

    - thanks to all of you I have an endless amount of ideas that I want to do with the motor and majority if not all the knowledge is here with all of you.
What is the hardest part about owning the car?
    - trying to find an honest mechanic that doesn’t try to cheat you out of your money.
