Did Mr Broadwater get his 1970 GSX ?

I think Gary may have been referring to Rick’s prom date with his question, rather than the lady who owned the ‘71 GSX. I hope she hasn’t passed as well.

The car is sitting in my garage and needs a ton of work. Unfortunately, life got in the way. I am hoping to get cracking on it soon so that my son can drive it to his senior prom in 2024. I think it would be slick for him to drive the same car to his prom that I did 33 years earlier. As for Heather, she's married (not to me) and has 2 kids.

Nope... The last one that I seriously contemplated ended up in Long Island. I would never be able to get a real one and still keep some of my other toys. I also have a '71 Skylark that will get the full "GSX" treatment. The best part about it is that I can paint it one of my all time favorite colors... Stratomist Blue.

I believe I read on here a couple years ago that maybe her nephew inherited the car? Seems like someone on here (or an acquaintance) was contacted by him to do some mechanical work to it.

Yes, I think it was the nephew that contacted my dad and asked about having some work done to the car. My dad explained that he couldn't fit it into his schedule. When my dad told me a few days later about getting the call I asked him "Well did you ask to at least go look at the car? Did you get his name and phone #?" My dad said no to both questions. Bummer.
