I agree about the BMW guys. Really chaps their a** when their "ultimate driving machine" gets smoked by a stock '80's grandpa car.:moonu:

I remember back in 1988,a buddy of mine picked up a 1985 or 86 Vette crossfire injected with manual trans. Anyway took a ride with him and noted how well it handled. We were discussing the latest fast cars and told him to watch out for Black GN's and T-Types. His response was that no V6 was as fast as his Chevy. The next stoplight (I'm no kidding) pulls up a black 86 or 87GN. My buddy is worked up and the GN owner wants to go. The Vette pulls a holeshot, but the GN goes by and pulls away with no problem.

The Vette got sold the next week!!

Never heard another bad word about my or any other Buick.

Well this one time i was coming out of college i was stopped at a red light when this one guy from the same college pulls up in his audi A6 we both took off pretty evenly we both kept on accelerating and i ended beating him by like half a car length we had to stop because the other light turned red... i didnt beat the guy by a whole lot but for a stock 97 Lesabre i think thats pretty good ....and the exact same thing happend like what other posters have said he flew past me at another light and made a sharp turn on some street too bad for him.

 

Well heres a good one... you said "audi" and mentioned school in the same post so it reminded me of another good kill from high school... there were a good number of kids whose parents bought them "nice" cars in my high school, two of the cockiest ones were taken down by my "old grandpa cars". I already told the one about the eclipse vs. the caprice, so heres another... I took the buick (then a stock '69 skylark 350) for a saturday cruise when one of the cocky kids with an audi a4 pulls up behind me at a stop sign... he's revving the audi like crazy and leaning out the window wanting to go, so I take off shredding tire (open rear) from the stop sign to show off and he took off after me... when that one tire stopped spinning around 60 mph he was pretty far behind and I was still pulling away. he always talked about a real re-match but was nowhere to be found when I wanted to go again... oh well, he never talked bad about my buick again either...

 

Ok I got an old one.

The year was 92, the car was a 72 LeSabre. I had my 455 with no port matching at all but it had headers good exhaust and the 212 cam.

It sounded loud and abnoxious. I was newly separated at the time so I has a nice little hottie with me just wasting gas cruising around.

We came to a red light in Hylan Blvd (2 lane busy road) and these 2 big over grown Guidos pull next to us in a brand new 7 series black BMW. He thought he had something special so we go and I embarrased him so bad that he hits the brakes and turns off the Blvd!!!:TU:

 

Ahhhhh, spring is here. I just spanked my new neighbor and his Sublaru STi. I posted it.
