    Jim,

    I forgot to ask, how much would the spiral shocks be? Any discount for a group purchase?

    Jim;

    Are the motor mount seats a natural finish. I have seen some photos of them painted black. Mine is a '71 so I don't know if they are different from the '70.

    Ours are painted cast iron as I recall. Some resto things are appropriately described as an interpretation.

    PS.. the Big block frame pads are natural cast iron in every car I have ever seen.

    Without your help and the info from the knowledgeable people on this Board doing this car would not be possible --at least for me.

    Don't forget to torque all the bolts and insert the cotter pins, and bend the tab on the disc brake backing plate. Looking good keep up the hard work.

    Bolts and nuts are torqued and alligned with the next hole per the assembly manual specs. No have copper cotters. Waiting for Duane's next run.

    I left the ears down for now just in case something has to come back off.

    Looking awesome Jim! :TU:

    That's it I'm going to go out to the garage and work on mine... :)

    What kind of shape is the motor in? It looks like it needs paint, but how about the mechanicals? I recall you stating that you were able to retain the stock bore size. I assume that means it's rebuilt???

    BTW, never seen an SSS motor, must be a special hi-po one off! :TU:

    Too much Orange Driver the night before will cause an S double strike the next morning on the assembly line.

    Getting the engine ready for the paint job now. I hope to put the engine and tranny back in with a couple of weeks. I am working on the z bar and related parts.
