Guys, 70-72 cars with the F-41 rear swaybar and H.D. suspension did not receive spirals. The shocks look identical to the spirals, but have the word "Pliacell" on them and are without the grooves. So you can save your money. This is new information and is the basis of an article I will complete once I get a little more info. Duane
Mike, If you buy a set of regular shocks and paint them the correct color gray it should work. The only trick would be to make sure the lower bolt looks the same as the originals. Duane
Mr Lore- Any update to one of my alltime favorite threads??? Sure would love to see some more pics.... (hint, hint, hint)
Hmmmmmmm, I think Mr Lore (kinda professional with that address) is pulling a fast one on us all ! I see lotsa pictures of the car and work completed. I see lotsa text saying he is doing this, done that, gonna do that........but no where do I see him in action............I think someone else is doing all the work and Jim is taking all the credit. Right ???????? I think I am going to call his wife and see if she can take some "spy shots" of the person doing all the work. Gonna ask her if she can take some of Jim in action. I gotta feeling the pic of Jim will be him sitting in a chair or laying in a hammock under some shade trees sippin a few of these :beer and supervising someone else doing all the work??????
some nice pics here....nice job...(so far) keep the pics comming ....gives me the inspiration for my soon restart of my 72
I will have spent about 40 hours sanding and refinishing this hood before priming and repainting. tip - wear leather gloves!!!
55 nomad glad I'm not working on the Nomad sitting beside my GSX!! if the rust molecules ever stop holding hands it will disintegrate!
Actually that 55 is either a 150 or a 210 2 door wagon. Nomad wagons have a unique window design found on no other Chev cars.
