I received an email notice from Fedex late yesterday, stating that a shipment from Legendary was scheduled for 10/19 departure, should arrive the 25th.

Last one's I saw were single,different color prototypes from about 5 months or more ago. I did get an email from Customer Relations this week and he apologized about the delay and expressed just how difficult it was to make these correctly. I am sure they could have just thrown anything out on the market since we have nothing else to choose from, but I am glad they will not release them till they are happy with them. Just wondering how I got so far down this list!:laugh:

Finally , finally they showed up! Overall they look pretty good, as mentioned seem a bit thin and have tiny defects (rough edges in some areas, tiny lumps etc) if you look real close (but who does?). Beats having none or having the incorrect style. Also legendary does have a 5 year warranty on them (whatever that means :laugh: ). In link below they have picture of mats, if you click on it you can pull up a picture of them and get an idea, click on that picture and you get real large version. In that picture one of their aft mats has a big "ridge" down one side, no idea what that is all about as mine doesn't have anything like that. I am happy. Geez John. Sorry to hear that they have treated you so badly, especially for all that you have done to make these mats become a reality. Kinda glad NOT to have pre ordered them way back when. This is a sad state of affairs if you ask me, as I've heard many good things about them. Hmmm, was thinking about ordering the mats as I too saw the ad in Hemming's Muscle Machines. Now I'm thinking about holding off on ALL (interior) orders that I've been planning till I see that most everyone here gets their "already paid for" mats. I really believe this will hurt them in the long run if they don't treat their customers better (and right) than they have been. Ah nuts, I'm heading to bed....... :Brow: Later! Jim
There's still pent up demand from guys like me waiting to see this all sorted out. If they understand that, then maybe they'll sort it out so I feel comfortable to order a few sets. Then again, I can go to autozone or someplace like that and get plain old black mats that work for less money. Once I do, they lost sales.
I got mine back in mid to late October. One thing I should mention was that I had to call them and its a good thing I did! I had 2 sets on order and they told me they had allready shipped out one set(brown)2 to 3 weeks prior and they showed no record of a black set being on order. I told HIM no, they didn't ship anything out because I had never received anything from them and they needed to get there act together because they had charged my credit card for 2 sets(black and brown)back in April:rant: . The guy puts me on hold for about 10 minutes and comes back on says "the brown set was not shipped and the black set was not showing on order because of a error we made". Wow! Really? Imagine that!?!? Anyway the brown set showed up about a week later and the black set showed up the first week or second week of November. I honestly think I would still be waiting if I hadn't made that phone call! The mats are nice and I am happy with the way they turned out but Legendary was a pain to deal with. If u are still waiting then I would call and see whats going on.
Well they have called me twice to tell me that the mats were delayed. So if they want to sell me some mats they will either call me or they will lose out. I don't need no sticking mats anyway They never have charged my cc for them.
Yeah if they hadn't charged my cc then I would've had a totally different attitude about it but they basically wasn't going to send me either set even though I had allready paid for them 6 months prior! I do get irritated @ that type of stuff. The mats do look good in the car though. Much better than the AutoZone specials I had in there:TU: .
I thiink the mold failed and they had to retool for another. These were not easy to make with the logo detail. I wish I had know Alan as I had 5 sets at one point. I would have helped you and Fritz out.
