I’ve known of him for years as he rose to be the F.A.S.T. top dog in his ‘72 GS, but didn’t really get to know him until this year when he joined us in BSA and hung out with us. Really sad to hear; such a nice guy and a true legend in our Buick world.

Sad day indeed, Gregg was always a pleasure to work with during our BPG days, a great vendor, never once had an issue, He ported a set of heads for me back in the late 80's. A quiet man with alot of Buick knowledge, true car Guy. Rest In Peace Gregg and Condolences to his Family, God Bless.

This is saddening. Unfortunately as a majority of the original V8 members are aging we're going to see a lot more of this. Rest easy Mr Gessler. You had many fans.

Sad day for the Buick community. Greg was a huge inspiration to me and my goals of proving how fast these cars are without purchasing the typical aftermarket parts. I met Greg back in the 90s and had him do some port work on 1 of my 1st stock appearing builds. He was a game changer when it came to our Buicks! A true legend in our circle. RIP Greg

When it was time to replace my big port irons with TA's SE heads 15 years ago, I simply didn't consider anyone else - not even for a moment. After discussing my combo with him I purchased the heads, his level 3 port work and a set of gaskets from him without a second thought.

    This is just heartbreaking.

He was one of my inspirations as a teenager when I was braving the Brand X world with a Buick. Him getting that '72 into the 10 second bracket was nothing short of amazing.

I guess we never know when our number is up. Drive those Buicks, fellas. None of us are promised tomorrow.

    RIP Mr. Gessler.
