Very sad to hear this, He will always be remembered here as a true Buick GURU and to many a good friend . Condolences to the family and community .R.I.P.
I have been advised that Greg's Widow would like to have any memorials in Greg's memory donated directly to the fire department listed in his obituary. We will respect Her wishes in this matter. Thanks JW
Greg did not look 61 years old. He kept himself slim and his smile looked like he had a unmatched zest for life. Goes to show to no matter how well you keep in shape and enjoy your life's work things happen.. The story's of him always helping everyone and a ear to talk too just makes me wish more that I met him
it's nice to see this thread still rolling. i never knew Greg but a guy like that should not and will never be forgotten. RIP
It's much the same for me. Not having ever met the man in person, but thinking about how his influence and good words from others made it easy for me to choose him for work to be done. Leaving a positive influence, help, kindness before we leave? Well that's just about the best job anyone can do, in my opinion. He did it very well. Devon
I knew about Greg at the beginning of July. The Northeast guys were aware, and we were all praying for the best. I would have posted sooner, but I believe the family wanted to keep it quiet, so I respected their wishes. Greg was the kind of guy you could just walk up and talk to, and you felt like you knew him forever. He always was willing to share his vast Buick knowledge with all. I purchased my TA Stage1SE aluminum heads from Greg. I opted for his level2 porting, and they ended up flowing 313/225 @.550 lift. He also milled them .040" so I could up my compression to get the most out of them. He painted them for me as well, and I also bought an Edelbrock Performer intake which he did some work to. I went from low 13's to mid 12's. I had lots of questions back then, and Greg would always answer them promptly. Greg will be missed by all.
