Very sad news. Greg was just an all around great person. It was my pleasure to know him. My condolences go out to his family. RIP Greg Ed
As one would expect, there has been a tremendous outpouring from the V8 community. Did Greg participate directly on here? I say directly, because he obviously was not only an accomplished competitor and businessman, but a friend to many.
Thanks for the link Devon.. Looking at his posts, Greg never missed a chance to say Happy Birthday or Congrat's to anyone's anniversary or accomplishments.. He was a true Class Act!!
Sad news of the loss of a very good friend. We had a lot of good times with Greg in the early days racing each other with the GSX in the GSSS Street Stock class. And many other good times. He was always a gentleman racer . He invited us to join him and pit crew for him when he ran his STAGE 1 in the F.A.S.T. classes at Bristol TN. It was a fun time. We will always remember. He was in the process of doing the final assembly on a 1972 GS STAGE 1 Convertible 4 Speed that we helped him restore. He brought the car here to our shop and came to pick it up after it was prepped and painted gulf stream blue. Saddened to realize that he never got drive and enjoy showing the car. The true loss is that we have lost a friend that was well respected in the BUICK community. He had a caring wife and wonderful children. We grieve for them. And all his extended family and friends. And express our sincerest condolences. I wish I got to see our friend one last time. Till we meet again.
RIP Greg. Very sad. I had quite a few business dealings with Greg, and he was a true gentlemen for sure.
What a shock to hear this. Greg went way back with a lot of us. Love how he was like a lot of us..." Walk softly and carry a big stick. "....with class.
Very sad, sounds like a very well liked and respected guy. Being a noobie it saddens me that I’m just learning of this man and his passing on the same day, and it turns out he’s right in my back yard. RIP.
I didn't know the man, but seeing the number of comments on this thread, he must have been a very special person. Sad.
Rest in piece Greg.we will miss you for sure.Your knowledge was very well known, and a good friend also.We will miss you.Condoliances to the Family.Bruno.
Never met or dealt with Greg but based on the comments here, this quote is appropriate: "The measure of a man is not necessarily his title or his position, but rather how he treats others." ~ Victor L. Brown
