He really was a Buick legend. He let us all walk a little taller with our chests stuck out with Buick pride the way he would dominate the stock appearing events around the country. He went way too young and will be deeply missed. My prayers go out to the Gessler family.
Awful news. My Dad and drove out to Western NJ to meet him in the late 1990's - and left our Stage-1 heads behind for him to perform his magic. He was great to work with and his talents speak for themselves. A sad day indeed for his friends, family, and the Buick community at large.
I bought some parts off of him when he quit heads and went to Q-jet parts. Sad to hear of his passing.
I’m very sorry to hear of his passing. He was certainly one of the most well-known names to ever be associated with Buick performance.
RIP... Greg.. Only have read about him and his Buick knowledge but wow he made that 72 GS Fast class run.. Today's morning log on isn't a happy one
Sad news indeed. I worked years ago same place as his brother, who I met after Greg. His brother died at an early age as well.
Sold him some iron heads/manifolds back when he was porting iron, and bought some ARP bolts from him only a couple years ago. Really nice guy. RIP.
